Great OncoEng Quarterly get together last week.
The Management Board Meeting in the morning was eagerly attended by all the researchers and academics. In the afternoon we were joined by Dr Sherron Furtado, Craig Gerrand, Sarah Astill and David Lunn to discuss promising synergies between the work at RNOH and that undertaken within OncoEng.
Two exciting outcomes from the conversations were to explor:
- The use of biomechanical assessments in the community to investigate function in the patient;
- Developing new approaches for surgery in oncology and the resection of the tumour.
