OncoEng has formed an international network of eight academic, industrial and clinical collaborators from Europe, USA and Australia (OncoEng+ Network) with a focus on novel modelling, imaging, advanced materials and innovative medical devices to overcome the challenges of predicting fracture and producing a new implant.

ETH Zurich is a public research university in the city of Zürich with a rich expertise in medical device development with previous collaborations with the University of Leeds through the Nu-Spine and BioTrib programme grants which both focussed on advanced biotribology and biomechanics research to develop new paradigms in joint replacements.
Lulea University of Technology is a public research university in Norrbotten, Sweden. It is a project partner with OncoEng through involvement with BioTrib, an international collaboration funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, with focus on improved design and testing to reduce incidence of implant failure, faults, and other orthopaedic complications.
Since 2002 Photocentric have been at the cutting edge of innovation in Photopolymers, manufacturing a wide variety of materials that harden in light. They are patent holders in visible light curing technologies, and over the last 20 years have supported (and innovated) a broad range of applications. Uppsala University is involved with OncoEng through activities with BioTrib, Nu-Spine and through the Additive Manufacturing Competence Centre. Offering extensive expertise and resources specialised in biomedical engineering research and development and create the scientific foundation for innovation in the performance of medical devices.
